One of the most important things to consider in building a Media PC or HTPC (Home Theatre PC) is cooling. Chances are that you’ll want your Media PC in your lounge and you’ll want it to be seen and not heard. You’ll also be trying to fit the components into a smart but small case which unfortuanately doesn’t fit so well with good, quiet airflow.

Removing hot air from a PC case is an important part of cooling the components inside. Most PC cases have provision for one or two exhaust fans but these tend not to be around the expansion slot area. Vizo’s Propeller 2 cooler fits in an expansion slot position with the aim of removing hot air.

So here it is then the final piece of the ASUS P5E3 Deluxe review jigsaw. My Conclusion, what the board is like to live with and use on a regular basis, whether it has any annoying quirks that you don’t pick up in a review that’s written over just a few hours of testing! I spent approx £135 on this motherboard, the most expensive motherboard that I’ve ever bought BUT do I think it was money well spent or was it all a waste?
